BUT everytime I go to BGC11's first week promo trailer I see people commenting on her statement of being mixed, saying shit like "What does she mean 'I'm mixed' You're still black, you dumb bitch." && quite frankly it's beginning to urk my fucking nerves. CTFUBVS. I'm mixed, myself. So I know where she's coming from. Nobody wants to be associated with that race (no shade). People have different opinions of Mixed & Black (Even white) && It seems as if Mixed people are the only ones that realize that. Like, I'll still go around and say I'm half black but at the end of the day on applications and shit I'm filling out Mixed Races or Multiple Races. I'm not filling out black. Therefore, not black. Mixed. I'm just realllllly irritated with the ignorance roaming this planet.
I honestly think it's just black people making those comments because they feel offended that people'd rather claim mixed than black. <---Ignorant comment.

Italians say I'm Italian when they're fucking White. Puerto Ricans say they're Puerto Rican when they're just Latin. Pacific Islanders say I'm Pacific Islander when they're just Asian. I'm confused as to why Mixed people can't say they're mixed tho? At least without being bothered about it. lolol Anyways... That's the end of that rant. It wouldn't fit on YouTube so I didn't put it there for them dickweeds to digest. You're all dismissed.

I'm mixed too, nigerian and filipino and I feel you. I'm black and asian but I look more black. I have asian eyes, a light/tan skin. my nose, voice, and hair give it away so you can tell that im black. i grew up around black people and for a while i referred to myself as just black even tho im not only black. i still consider myself black because in society's eyes, theres no such thing as being black and mixed with anything. one drop rule: you have a certain amount of black in you then you're automatically considered full black no matter what. this was back in the slave days but it still applies today unfortunatley. I've had people stereotype against me for being (half) black and it sucks mainly because im not even full black. ive even had peopleI(white people) say they dont like me and that they're scared of me because im black. Growing up I never had a problem with black girls hating on me or whatever. My cousin got jumped for being mixed with black and white when she was younger but i was down with the full black girls lol. but recently everytime i say im black this boojie girl hops in and says that i dont count as a black person and i get so mad.

Your race is what describes your physical characterstics. Say you had asian eyes and brown skin. People would probably consider your race blasian. As for ethnic, that has to do with your family and ancestors, where they came from, and what they do. This is more of the technical part where all the white people say they're german, irish, polish, danish, american, canadian, iceland, etc. shit like that. So technically, your race is whatever you want it to be. However you want to describe yourself is your choice. But most people will look back on you ancestors and say whether you're black, white, asian, hispanic, etc.
